Web-enabled and CD-Based Multimedia-Self-teaching Program on Haṭhayogapradīpikā of Svātmārām (One of the three most important texts of Haṭha-Yoga) with topic-wise and other searches at various levels such as – ‘Recite’ Mode; ‘Teach Me’ Mode; ‘Tell Me More’ Mode; and ‘Search’ Mode. The Haṭhayoga Pradīpikā of Swātmārām a great text that almost hand holds the reader in practising the Yogic techniques has been translated, explained and interpreted by various scholars. In this teaching package the translation and interpretation have been provided to in a lucid manner to enable the user to follow and understand the Ślokas easily. It also provides an opportunity for researchers to understand, learn and practise the text well. Help for Haṭhayogapradīpikā Application features: Recite Mode: Here the text is continuously chanted (one verse after the other) in a fully traditionally manner. The original Sanskrit text is shown in Devanāgarī script in the top-most portion of the screen. The transliteration of the same is shown in English script with diacritical marks in the window that is below the top-most window. The literal translation of that portion of the text is shown in the bottom window. Below, there are navigational buttons like Pause and Play, Previous, Repeat etc., to facilitate seamless navigation. Teach Me Mode: Here the text is first chanted by the Guru and is repeated by the students - (recorded Voice-over is provided) - one verse after the other with word / phrase breaks - in a fully traditionally manner.
